Falkenberg Municipality is now seeking an engaged and knowledgeable teacher for our national vocational education program, "Small-scale Professional Grower and Raw Material Processor" (200 YH credits) at Campus Falkenberg.
Do you want to help shape the next generation of professional growers and raw material processors? We are currently conducting the second round of an exciting education focused on small-scale, organic farming, processing, and entrepreneurship. The demand for locally grown and sustainably produced food is high, and you will play a key role in providing our students with the knowledge and skills the industry needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
About the role:
As a teacher on the program, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and developing teaching within several of the program's core areas. You will alternate between theoretical instruction and practical sessions, including on our pedagogical growing area.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Teaching and supervision in cultivation (vegetables, fruit, berries in open fields and greenhouses), soil health, plant nutrition, and raw material processing.
- Planning and conducting practical exercises and sessions.
- Developing practical cultivation/course materials and teaching methods.
- Supporting students' learning and development towards examination goals.
- Contributing to the development of the program's LIA period (Learning in Work) and collaboration with the industry.
- Contributing to an inspiring and inclusive learning environment.
- Conducting assessment and examination of students.
- Actively contributing to quality work and the development of the program, based on Campus Falkenberg's quality handbook.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with theoretical knowledge and substantial practical experience in the following areas:
- Small-scale, professional, and organic cultivation of vegetables, herbs, fruit, and berries.
- Cultivation planning, design of growing areas, and logistics.
- Soil health, soil fertility, plant nutrition theory, and composting.
- Craft-based processing and preservation of garden products.
- Knowledge of entrepreneurship, economics, and marketing within green industries is a plus.
Requirements:
- Relevant knowledge acquired primarily through professional experience, or education, in gardening, agriculture, food processing, or equivalent.
- Documented experience in practical cultivation work and/or raw material processing on a professional scale.
- Pedagogical experience and/or education is highly meritorious. You thrive in the role of an educator and have the ability to engage and motivate adult students.
- Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- You are structured, proactive, and have a solution-oriented approach to work.
We consider it meritorious if you have:
- Experience working with or implementing the Agenda 2030 goals in practice.
- Knowledge of current research and development within the natural resource sector (e.g., from SLU, the Swedish Board of Agriculture).
- Experience with digital tools for cultivation planning or teaching.
- Networks within the green industries in Halland.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: By agreement, with a view to preparations for course start in September 2026.
Work load: 60-80%.
